Brian Turner

Treasurer

Born and raised in Colorado, Brian earned an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Colorado – Boulder and a master’s degree from the Colorado School of Public Health. He has dedicated his career to leading transformative nonprofits in behavioral health, education, and public health sectors.

Brian currently serves as the Vice President for Mission Advancement at the non-profit Diversus Health, one of Colorado’s largest behavioral health providers. Prior to joining Diversus he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Solvista Health, a nonprofit community behavioral health center providing integrated mental health, substance use, and primary care across nine rural locations in Colorado’s upper Arkansas Valley. Additional prior roles include Deputy Director for the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council, President for the Colorado Public Health Association, Director of Mental Health First Aid Colorado, and Development Director for an international NGO working in secondary and higher education. Brian also serves on the Boards of the Caring for Colorado Foundation, the Colorado Health Facilities Authority, and Contexture, a multi-state health information exchange.

Brian and his wife Sara, an ICU nurse, are the joyful parents to two amazing young adventurers and making the most of the great privilege it is to live in beautiful Colorado.
