Colorado Gives Day 2025

More than 1,191 contributions raised a record $408,864 on Colorado Gives Day, benefiting 19 Lake County nonprofit organizations.

Your support makes a difference, and we are grateful!

This was our sixth year as the Regional Champion, and I want to express our deep appreciation to the many donors who contributed to our critically important Lake County nonprofit organizations. These contributions will truly make a difference by adding vital resources to our Lake County organizations as well as creating awareness of our nonprofit sector.

The additional funding raised through Colorado Gives Day will support initiatives such as food security, after-school programs, early childhood education, cultural and historic preservation, environmental causes, and much more.

During the first six years as Regional Champion, 2020 – 2025, 8,296 gifts have contributed $1,830,680 to Lake County nonprofit organizations.

Colorado donors raised a whopping $56 million for Colorado nonprofits on Colorado Gives Day.

“This year, the need was greater than ever, and Coloradans once again demonstrated why our state is one of the most philanthropic states in the nation,” said Kelly Dunkin, president and CEO of Colorado Gives Foundation.  “We’re inspired by the generosity of our community and look forward to continuing this statewide movement in the years to come.” (WalletHub ranked Colorado as the 6th most charitable state in 2025.)

“Since its inception in 2010, Colorado Gives Day has raised more than $581 million for nonprofits across the state, making it one of the most impactful giving movements in the nation. With 102,835 people donating this year, it’s incredible to see how much Coloradans care about our nonprofits,” added Dunkin.

Donors represented all 50 states plus Puerto Rico, Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, and Federated States of Micronesia.

Lake County Gives serves as the platform for donors to learn about participating local nonprofits and make online donations to those nonprofits on Colorado Gives Day and throughout the year. Lake County Gives strives to widen the reach of Colorado Gives Day to make a difference for nonprofits in Lake County.
