Director
Lindsey Paricio-Moreau is a dedicated educator and scholar currently serving as an adjunct professor of chemistry at Colorado Mountain College, Leadville. Prior to moving to Leadville, she was a high school science teacher at Cherry Creek High School in Denver where she championed diversity, equity and inclusion policies and resources. She is published in education journals and believes strongly in accessibility and the importance of sharing information and experiences. Lindsey is a national board-certified science and math educator.
As a Colorado Education Policy Fellow, she researched education policy, wrote policy briefs, provided feedback and testimony on active bills through the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado State Legislature. This experience provided the opportunity to network with stakeholders to create a shared vision.
Lindsey attended Colorado State University as a Boettcher Scholar. As an honors scholar at CSU, she earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s in chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Education. She served as a graduate teaching and research assistant in the Chemistry Department. As a CSU Presidential Ambassador, Lindsey networked and fundraised on behalf of the university. She was a member of the Current Scholars Board for the Boettcher Foundation, mentoring and coaching students from around Colorado.
While at CSU, she became passionate about food security and started the Rams Against Hunger program. This started out with small pocket pantries, one mobile pantry, and a drive for Meal Swipes. Lindsey commented, “This program has since grown so much more than I could have dreamed!”
During her spare time, Lindsey enjoys interacting with the community as a barista at City on a Hill coffee shop.
This winter, she looks forward to working on the Ski Cooper Race crew!
